so basically, it is the way we think of things, is that correct?

my mom currently refuses to go back to work until the person that caused her ’stress’ is fired. from her testimony, the boss basically humiliated her in front of customers. i can only guess what she was feeling. but i think the illustration you gave is pretty much the same with my mom. what can i tell her to make her feel better? she is still on the defense that ‘this man’ caused her great emotional distress.

oh, by the way, the boss is a habitual drunk that comes to work in that same state. can i even ask my mom to just forgive the man? there is also one thing about my mom’s stubbornness. once she says it is so, she will keep it up. will getting over this stress harder if stubbornness is a factor?
